To truly understand who Jesus is, we must first know some facts about God and ourselves. God is the creator of the universe. However, His universe was not complete until He created man. God created each one of us for a purpose, to glorify Him. God loves us and His will for our lives is that we would be obedient to His commands, use our talents in serving and glorifying Him, and ultimately that we would spend eternity with Him in Heaven. Unfortunately, our disobedience results in a sinfulness that prevents us from fulfilling our purpose. Because God is just, our sinfulness requires that we be punished. Because of our sin, whether we commit only one sin or millions of sins, we are doomed to eternity in Hell.

However, because God's love for us is so great, He made a way that we might be saved from Hell. God took the form of a human being named Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life, was beaten, mocked and crucified for all our sins. Jesus died, was dead 3 days, and then was resurrected in order to conquer the spiritual death that is due all sinners. Jesus gave of himself as a sacrifice so that our sins could be forgiven and we could spend eternity in Heaven.

Eternal life is a wonderful gift from God. You have not earned it nor can you earn it, it is a free gift.
In order to receive the gift of eternal life you must make a conscious decision to believe that Jesus died and was then risen from the dead by God, and accept and profess verbally that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. God requires an individual response from you.

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9-10

Please read the following verses and prayerfully consider receiving your free gift.

God's Love for us is undeniable
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

God loves us so much that He made the ultimate sacrifice so that we would not die a spiritual death, but that we would have eternal life with Him in Heaven.

We are naturally sinful
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

God is perfect but our sin separates us from God. You must understand that you are a sinner and although God loves you, He hates your sin. Our sin grieves God because He knows what punishment lies ahead for sinners who do not turn from sin.

Our sinfulness does not come without a price
"For the wages of sin is death" - Romans 6:23

Because we have broken God's laws and sinned, we deserve spiritual death. Spiritual death is eternal separation from God in Hell. Sinners who do not turn from their sinful ways and accept Jesus will spend eternity in torment. Just as criminals today must pay a penalty for their crimes, sinners must pay the penalty for their sins.

Jesus Christ has paid the price!
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" - Romans 5:8

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ has made the only sacrifice that would please God. Some think you can lead a good life and do good deeds and  God will forgive you of your sins.  But the Bible says that God loved us so much that Christ died for you, even when you were rebelling against Him.

Salvation is a free gift
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast" - Ephesians 2:8-9

The word grace means "undeserved favor."  It means God is offering you something you could never provide for yourself: forgiveness of sins and eternal life, God's gift to you is free. You do not have to work for a gift. All you have to do is joyfully receive it, Believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ died for you!

Christ wants to come in
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" - Revelation 3:20

Jesus Christ wants to have a personal relationship with you. Picture, if you will, Jesus Christ standing at the door of your heart (the door of your emotions, intellect and will). Invite Him in; He is waiting for you to receive Him into your heart and life. Don't ignore his pleading, there is no guarantee that you will have another opportunity to invite Him in.

You must receive Him
"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" - John 1:12

Only children of God will dwell with him forever. When you receive Jesus into your heart you instantly become one of God's children. your inheritance is in Heaven. You now have the awesome privilege of approaching the throne of God and having a relationship with Him. You can talk with God any time, anywhere . You have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with same Jesus Christ that died for you. Jesus will live through you.

If you want to become a child of God say this prayer to God:

Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I need your forgiveness.
You created me to worship and glorify You and I have been disobedient.
Your son Jesus died as a sacrifice for my sins and then rose from the dead to conquer the death that was due me.
I have made the decision to accept Jesus into my heart as Lord and Savior.
Father, I gratefully accept your free gift of eternal life.
I will turn from my sinful ways and seek only to glorify you.
In Jesus' holy and precious name.
Amen.

If you were sincere and said that prayer you now have the gift of eternal life!
